Caravan Water Pumps

Have you ever considered how water gets from your storage tank to your sink or shower? This is done with the help of caravan pumps.

In the past, caravan hand water pumps were fitted. You had to manually pump the handle up and down in order to draw water up from the tank. This is before the times when showers and toilets were fitted to RVs – can you imagine how much you would need to pump to use these facilities?

These days, however, we’re fortunate to have access to some of the best caravan water pumps on the market – which are powered via your van’s electrical system. Once quiet loud in their operation, today’s 12 volt water pumps for caravans are almost silent.

Range of spare parts and accessories

To keep your purchase in tiptop condition, we stock an extensive range of accessories and spare parts for our caravan and camper water pumps. These include: fitting kits, accumulators, float switches, servicing kits, pressure switches, valves, in-line filters, and repair kits.

Choose an in-built filter or add one

Although some 12v water pumps for camping come with in-built filters, others don’t – so it’s highly recommended that you add one. The acidity of some water sources and other contaminants can potentially damage your pump, so filtering them out is the best way to prevent this.

Can indicate the presence of a leak

If you hear a sharp “brrr” sound in the middle of the night, it may be a sign that you’ve forgotten to turn your caravan or motorhome water pump off but it could also be an indication of a leak. The sound could be the result of the pump trying to maintain pressure in the lines, so check it out.
